Last updated: 17-08-2026. This privacy policy explains how IDLE handles contact form data, submitted stories, uploaded photographs and links to external social media.
Contact and form data
When you use the contact details on this site, or submit one of the forms, you share information such as your name, e-mail address, location and whatever you choose to write.
In the current version of this website the forms are not connected to a database. Submitted information is handled by e-mail. If a form backend is added later, this policy will be updated to name the provider and the storage period.
Submitted stories
Story submissions are used to decide whether to contact you about a possible feature. They are kept while a submission is being considered and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can come back to interesting vehicles.
Nothing you submit is published without your agreement.
Uploaded photographs
Photographs you attach to a submission are used to understand the vehicle. You keep the copyright in your own images.
If we publish an image you supplied, we agree the credit with you first.
External links and social media
This site links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and their own tracking. Following a link means their rules apply, not ours.
No social media tracking scripts, pixels or embedded feeds are loaded on this website.
Analytics and cookies
This version of the website sets no tracking cookies and loads no analytics scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner.
If analytics are added in future, a privacy-friendly and cookie-free tool will be preferred. If any tool requiring consent is introduced, a consent request will be added at the same time and this page updated.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or ask for a copy.
